STEPHEN BATH, born in Denver, Colorado, is married to Janice Donald Bath, formerly  of Pearl, Mississippi.  They are parents of four grown children:  Rachel, David, James Clayton, and Sarah Lauren.  They make their home in Newport.  He received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Starkville, MS.

Stephen (or Steve), the son of a pastor, grew up in Mississippi.  Following high school graduation in Port Gibson, MS, he earned a B.A. from Mississippi College and an M.R.E. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a minor in music from each institution.  He was ordained to the gospel ministry by Port Gibson Baptist Church and served in several churches in Mississippi and Louisiana before coming to North Carolina.

Stephen has been serving Bogue Banks Baptist Church since October 2001.  Stephen and Janice have come to love their church family here at Bogue Banks and enjoy both the beauty and climate of the coastal region.
